It is a service that focuses on problems related to children's speaking abilities. These problems can be related to both physical and mental inabilities. Speech and language pathologists (SLP) diagnose and plan exercises and medication for these kinds of problems. Language intervention therapy, articulation therapy, feeding and swallowing therapy, and oral exercises are used to help with speech-related problems.
